SEDAN or COUPEHi guys, I am thinking, should I go for the sedan or the coupe. Perhaps a Coupe ( although may give the sporty hot look ) may be unrealistic when it comes to needing to get into the back seat. I mean can it get frustrating? Especially you go out with a group or family and you need to rush into a coupe..What are your thoughts on this?Let's take a BMW 3 Series, coupe or sedan?

I think do everything once in life....own a sedan, coupe, convertible...etc. BMW, Merc, Mazda MX5, Audi TT etc....don't confine yourself to one brand also. Life is short ,bro. Its not like you drive one car till you die, you know. Free your mind, Neo......( Morpheous). No boundaries. No limits!

i give you some pointers to consider...
do u have another family car?
do u drive this yourself most times?
is your family young or very young ( needing car seat etc )
does your family have old folks who would hate 2 door cars.
buying car based on looks would be easy but there are many other factors too.....

imo...does your work needs to to carry guest around?...if not coupe FTW as u r driving it daily to work, y not have fun on it..i'm driving my e30 coupe to work everyday and it looks neat...when u need a 4D, that when wife/gf car come in...wakaka

I takut own a coupe.. because when driving a coupe, many on the road think you can go very fast and they start to cucuk u and disturb u, especially those Wiralution, or Alfa, or even a Neo, VIOS, Myvi, Avanza.. and the list goes on...
Its indeed an attention seeker which is not my cup of tea. I don't mind driving a Datsun 120Y if it can go faster than a 320 coupe.. I can already imagine passing the coupe and have a look at his face.. haha!
4-door for me.. always! Peace of mind. If I'm slow, hey, its a 4-door! If 2-door , blame what? :10:

Guys, thank you so much for all the replies. It really helped, indeed I like the way a Coupe looks compared to a Sedan. It looks sporty and just hot, now here's my other question. What about a Coupe + Convertible? Bending over from front side door to get to the back or bringing the top down each time to do so... will it get frustrating in time?

Sometimes in Malaysia people say weather doesn't make owning a convertible 'realistic' (Wah liao! so hot one here in Malaysia-u so stupid buy convertible-u know or not?), or a coupe 'sensible' ( u stupid son, how your father can sit in that low car-he cannot bend his arthritic knee for so long already. Worse more-after seating down, how can he get up??!!, Aiya!!! Why you don't buy four doors like astroboy told you lah...you make mummy's heart broken and make mummy cry, cry again, you know-and so much money also you spent on what E 4 6 car...where got car name after alphabets one....???why so funny one?? E46, E60, E90 make mummy so confused!!!!!))) ....but it would be fun to own one even for a year, wouldn't it, Megalord? To be like Neo-to conquer your fears and achieve your dreams....
