Message: <blockquote data-quote="stig" data-source="post: 25264" data-attributes="member: 14032"><p>I just thought I'd document my car's journey for the fun of it <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" />.  A bit of history/background<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big Grin    :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" />ad bought me the car while I was back for summer internships in 2007 and did not want me to drive his cars to work.  The car was stock except for paint - it was silver but when I popped the hood the engine bay was red.  Pic below was taken during my DIY door repair; red paint visible.<a href="http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/808/20062010279.jpg/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/9672/20062010279.th.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a>I had it repainted back to its original red when my fender and a parking pillar met on a late night lepak session in September 2010.  Painting it back to red gave me some serious racun...My self-racun plans as of 05/06/20111) Interior restoration (0/100%)2) Exterior upgrades (0/100%)3) Suspension refresh/upgrade (0/100%)4) Manual conversion (25/100%)Actually, I'll update the plans as and when I get funky ideas!  This serves just as a tracker for what I have done.Now let's get to the pictures!</p></blockquote><p></p>
