Good day guys, As recommended by some M owners, im starting my thread about my ///M journey. It all started when i was studying in Staffordshire UK. I knew that im eligible to bring one car back to Malaysia using student AP and it would be a waste if i dont use it. So a hunt for a performance car are initiated. Due to the buying power of British pound, scouring a car is not an issue as from learning the tips and tricks how to bring back cars to Msia made me a fortune by selling 6 cars from UK using student AP. At first i was all into the Toyota Altezza and one rare Altezza caught my heart. It was the TOM'S Altezza 280T only 500 units were built and it was a rare gem plus the only Altezza that came in forced induction version. But it was sold even before i get a chance to put down the downpayment or booking fee. I was dejected and my spirit went down. I got a call from my brother in law amd he suggest me a couple of good cars but from all of it, only one caught my eye. That is the E46 ///M3. So i begin to seek a couple of answer that lays in my head. Will the maintenance cost will burn my pocket? Is it really that good? Isn't it too overpowered?. The guys from M3Cutters have been very helpful and assuring me that i will never be dissappointed. Plus they explain every single thing in details according to my budget and income. The next thing is to find one with the specification that i want.Red Nappa Leather InteriorSunroofLow MileagePerfect Service HistorySatellite NavigationHarmon-KardonCoupe Chassis19 inch wheelsAnd of course a stick shift.....And to my luck, a forumer PM'ed me over that there is one according to my spec available for sale and he knew the guy. So i gave him a call and set a date. The only thing that i need to take into attention is the rust issue and whether the car has been driven in winter. All of the inspection were done plus the guy have this ramp for me to inspect the undercarriage of the car. I was satisfied, pay the guy on the spot and bring back the car home. Here is my baby ///M3....Front view
Nice ass...
Beside my Vauxhall Insignia....
Once i got the M for a few days, i decided that it need some personal touch. Went on ebay UK and ordered this plate holder....
Also i noticed the side marker a bit flashy. Need a smoked one from a reputable aftermarket manufacturer. Ordered a set of DEPO side marker with silver bulbs. Looks nice though.
I bought myself a 3M Carbon decal and wrapped the interior trim with it.
