Hi _M_, Don't have a specific answer to your question but here's a couple of points I found when I was researching this topic before that may help: 1) The M Performance Sway Bar upgrades, are designed to work in conjunction with their springs. So as a package, you should feel the difference. 2) Sway Bars are all about twisting force, so the thickness alone may not be the only criteria. Naturally if there are two bars of the same material and design, and one is thicker than the other, then the thicker one would have a a larger torsion strength. But unless we actually compare the OEM and M Performance, it's hard to tell what the stiffness change is. To better understand my point (2), we'll look at the E92 335 Sway Bars, comparing stiffness and thickness. Front OEM Sway Bars: 26.5mm Front Hotchkis Sway Bars: 32mm Improvement: 95% stiffer than OEM Rear Oem Sway Bars: 13mm Rear Hotchkis Sway Bars: 16mm Improvement: 105% stiffer than OEM. So even though the Fronts are 5.5mm thicker, they are only 95% stiffer, yet in the Rear, just 3mm thicker makes it stiffer by more than twice. Hopefully that helps in some way. If we get someone interested in the Suspensions package, I will definitely do a very thorough side-by-side comparison and post them up in the forums.
