I would advise caution if the tire is repairable and you want to save it.  When I had the zero pressure puncture last year, I drove it home at about 60-70kmh and when I got home the tire was too hot to touch! The less air there is inside, the more the bead, walls and thread have to work supporting the car, hence the heat generated. Excessive heat will cause ply separation and make the tire unsafe to use.I drove it to the tire shop at about 30kmh and when I got there, it was still hot, but at least touchable. Total distance driven was about 50km, but it was a goner anyway.</blockquote>
