Head Unit - Replacement

Hi All,

The 2020 X1 does not have apple car play/android available. Its such a pain to use a mobile phone for navigation and the ease that apple car play provides. My car has 2 years left on the 5 year warranty and looking for advise if its recommended to go for the plunge and get a after market head unit which gives apple car play?

Appreciate any advise i can get pls..

Get an android unit that opens up more possibilities for your I drive capabilities such as apple car play or android auto,YouTube, waze etc.

Perhaps you can check with BMCM coders to see if they manage to install the apple car play for your car. I did with them previously. You can also refer with Eurotuner in Kota Damansara.

It may depend on the current ID system which were installed on your car. Better to ask them directly to get the estimated cost.
