E46 CD changer

its quite a common thang wiv cd changer, unless of cos if yer talkin bout the changer skippin to next song. usually it wld only skip a sec or less of the song, then bck to normal. but somehow it did happen to me when it skipped more often than the usual rate.
so wat i did wuz hev it sent to any accessory shop, they wld take it out fer u, n hev it serviced where they wld clean the head/reader wateva. shld costs u bout rm30-50 bucks or so. settle.
if problem persists, then r u usin cd of yer own (u burn yer own songs issit?). if yes, then set the burnin speed lower, shld b ok.

Got mine fixed today. so far no more skipping... but kena racun to change my rear speakers... kinda regreted it now coz it didn't sound any better than my original ones.. May be going to Technichi tomorrow to see if can improve the sound.

I had it done at JE Automart at pandan indah....It was FOC since i know the wireman quite well, since he did my previous E36 too. Only took him 30mins...

I just fix my e46 cd changer today. This guy is really good i.e I send for repair once at different shop, and the problem persist - cant read the cd and told me that the head kaput and cannot repair. But when I send to this guy, he fix it on the spot and dont even need to change the head. He told me even if the head is damage, it can be replaced with Alpine. Cost me Rm30 only otherwise got to change the whole set. Btw, this guy got 20 years experience with Blaupunk(spelling), as he told me. His shop near my place. pm me if you need his number

It's a common problem and got it fixed in Auto Bavaria FOC under goodwill warranty but that was more than a year ago...

Got my changer serviced at Next Audio today...like mikeong said,they r really competent n experience. Got mine fixed on the spot and they even let me watch how they did it... now no more skipping. :yes!: I would also recommend anyone who wants to get their sound system done up can also give them a try... Two thumbs up!!
