Message: <blockquote data-quote="viewfinder" data-source="post: 396227" data-attributes="member: 1704"><p>I had the same problem and it was the fuel pump/float plastic having fine line crack.  Got it replaced... part costs about 750.  There's one small effect (at least one) if you don't do anything... your fuel consumption is marginally higher because fuel constantly evaporates from the fine crack (ie. same issue as coolant tank has fine crack lines and water level dropped)  I figured that out because whenever I left the car unused for several days, my mileage was always lower when I pumped full tank again and did the math.  With the new part, that kind of drop never occur again.</p></blockquote><p></p>
