So now comes the DIY project. At 1st I have 0% on install this my sifu is only item manual and uncle google and aunt youtube. So on the manual the gauge has 4 wire that is 1. Wiring to Engine Switch + ve ( The gauge will start when we start the engine ) 2. Wiring to Lamp Switch + ve ( At night when we turn on our light the gauge light will on as well ) 3. Wiring to Sensor Adaptor 4. The - ve battery or car body (grounding) But Im not following in the manual, but I do my own switch. Dont want mess with the car original wiring. So here the material 1. Car Fuse Adapter x2 - I connect to Switch and Light for the gauge 2. 5 - 6 meter wire. Mine I buy 4 meter only still not enough. But you guys also can buy 4 meter but need to look 1st where you want to put the switch. 3. On / Off Switch x2 - Switch for active the gauge and the light. This for basic material. My DIY not complete yet but Ill show the complete process. But this DIY I show is fully active and the meter are working. So here the Sensor Adapter need to be install. - Measure the adapter sensor width the one write Defi, after that use paper tape or any tape to mark it. Then cut it. On 2nd pic there a radiator hose that already cut. Our radiator has 3 hole on it. show it picture. and this the sample diagram that I scratch to show the our e34's cooling system. So the adapter sensor must put at the top radiator hose at number 2. So you see the adapter has 2 wire on it, 1 connect to gauge 1 to - ve or grounding.
