[QUOTE="Jules, post: 222680, member: 88"] Just saw this thread..... Since Elwine30 mentioned my name - I elaborate more. Mine is all disc set up from stock and it sucks big time. With a COMPLETE new ATE Powerdisc front, Standard rear, Pagid Fast Road and Braided lines all around - they still do not inspire confidence....maybe I drive too slow. By this time - the replacments already cost perhaps RM1500....perhaps my system is shot but I CANNOT lock my brakes from ANY speed, no matter how hard I stomp the brake ( which is an incorrect way to brake, so PLEASE dun flame me ) Then came mod 2 - the brake booster from a 7 series. Another Rm800 or so - the car brakes much to my comfort.....with no noticeable fade even on Sepang. Of course, a word of caution. As the car brake are much improved and the E30 a light car - braking in the wet is at best RE-LEARNED. It locks easily since we do not have ABS....so be forewarned. However, I prefer it this way - at least I can be in control and not the other way round.... This was the best money I spent on car and my regular BMW mechanic was even impressed. Happy upgrading.
