I am requesting one of our OM from Penang to book Hotel Royal Penang for us. We stayed at this hotel last year for our visit to BMW Assembly Plant @ Kulim. Price then was RM 145 nett without breakfast and hopefully we can obtain the same price. Kojak, the drive date in first post still 07 July, better edit to 14 July as your wish.
 
Ok, hotel confirmed. Last date for room reservation is 07/07/2012 (one week before the drive).

- RM150/night WITH breakfast.
- Can choose king size bed or 2 single bed room.

Room rate consider better than last time as previously RM145 without breakfast. Pls confirm early if u want king size bed as room limited.

Drive to Balik Pulau, Penang is cancelled

Reasons :-

1. Durian season is over.
2. Cut throat price by durian seller ( Info from our group club and local Penang club members)
3. Preparation for the fasting ( Ramadhan for Muslim members )

Therefore, I am changing the date to the Sat 30th June 2012 with a new durian makan location. Stay tune for more information.....

Venue: Durian Plantation ( GLK Sendirian Berhad)
38 Acre , 1000 durian tree (Various kind of durian) and large parking.

Time : 12.00 p.m

Meet Point : Mohamed Bistro, Tambun.Ipoh

Info : Same date have a Club from Toyota Alphard ( Alphard Owner Club - AOC & Perak Estima Alphard Group- PEAG) to merge / join with us.

Q&A ~ Can advise how much does the charge for his durians?? Still pay by the Kg or go by per fruit, or go by the baskets?
Paid by the baskets (kg) and divided per head,eat all you want.
example : Charge per basket is RM300. And we have 10 people. Every one should be paid RM 30.00

Note : I am no Durian expert and in the past, I was usually quite happy just eating the Durians during peak season. However, now that I know better, life might not be quite the same again! As they say, ignorance is bliss. Aiyah, remember hoh, "No Money Don't Learn to Eat Durian!"
