The pitlane photos above, are they taken with 70-200 f2.8 or prime?

No wonder the background is so nice and focus is razor sharp... if you know of any used 300mm prime lens for sale, which I know is hard to come by, please let me know.
 
Can't justify 16 grand with my extremely low usage of a 300mm. Looking for something that's 4-digit. Oh, and only if it's Canon EF mount (can borrow friends' Canon SLR easily).
