Angry Kia Spectra 1.6 (A) parts

Went to one workshop to get the car checked as the car is very noisy when travelling on uneven roads. Was told to change the following:-

    a) Absorber - RM220 per pc (korean brand)
    b) Absorber mounting - RM150 per pc (korean brand)
    c) Absorber link - RM88 per pc (korean brand)
    d) Lower arm ball-joint - RM98 per pc (korean brand)

felt that the above prices were expensive, so went to another spare part shop for quotation as follows:-

    a) Absorber - RM145 per pc (korean brand)
    b) Absorber mounting - RM110 per pc (original KIA)
    c) Absorber link - RM38 per pc (korean brand)
    d) Lower arm ball-joint - N/A (coz it was sunday and unable to quote)

    Wow...what a difference... sigh

I think absorber defect is very commom for KIA as i have my both KIA spectra & optima have the same problem...The parts from KIA original is very expensive but long lasting compare with other korean brand. The price can up to 2X or more compare with original part...Btw, i agreed that the parts price is vary from shop to shop as they get from diff manufacturer. They only stated korean brand but didn't stated which manufacturer they get from...

I usually buy from the only 2 servis center in pg...For high fuel consumption i believe is depend on the driving style....if myself driving, fuel consumption sure high. If my partner drive, it as save as Vios. Btw, i sold both my optima & spectra due to seldom use.
