Wire at E24 front spoiler

    I'm very curious at a wire dangling from an e24 spoiler. Looks like a sensor or something but what is it actually? Anybody knows what it does? The spoiler came from a 1986 635csi. Pics attached...Front view:[​IMG]Close up:[​IMG]Rear view:[​IMG]

    Think its the temp sensor....

    This could be the temp sensor wire...


    Mine ada lobang tapi takda sensor..... Thot it was a defect until I check it out on the WWW....:wink:

    Hows your T23 coming along? Dah upgrade apa pulak:rock:

    ah I see thanks for the info :) takde upgrade apa la vern... just putting on an e24 spoiler... baru dapat, my bro ship from uk. Now doing bodywork & paint... should be ready by merdeka day. Maybe next month tt can bring it...

    the spoiler is important maa... so that I can extend my sig pic a few more pixels to the bottom :)

    that wire can be attached to your OBC to tell the tempreture.. if you have one on board..

    oo.. don't think my e23 have the wiring. Vern, if you'd like to try, can come over to my place to test it with your car... before somebody grab the spoiler :) the other spoiler that I'm going to put on my e23 doesn't have the sensor.
