There's some talk in the Autoworld forum about E60 520i owners experiencing this problem of the car being afflicted by momentary power loss. Any truth in that?
Yes, there was an issue with that for the early batch, but a free software upgrade by AB cures that. No such problem with the other E60 models.
buying a 5er now will leave you less time to enjoy when the next model roll out btw 2008-2009. Getting an E90 will let you run untill 2011-2012...
That's a good point but I saw a wide-wheeled E60 530i the other day and boy, did it look very, very good!
yep, i'm totally agree with you Juan, i almost sign for a 523i but luckily i didnt. But that's just me, its up to you. but seriously, actually i cant afford a 525i - that's asking too much. But, but if i have the dough i will only consider a 530i for a 5er. To me, its like getting a E46 325i when 318i is way under power sort of thing..
Yup. The E60 520i or 523i will not arouse any excitement from the flamingoes with or without Primax 3. The 525i is decent and the 530i is a wee bit better than decent with 258 bhp. But, with 218 bhp or 258 bhp in an E90, the equation changes somewhat. I think I can afford one last fling on the fast lane...
as usual..2-3 weeks, this is AB sales tactic. And 2-3 weeks is just about right for CKD to be launched CBU E90 325i no more stock since April 2006.
Thanks for the info, guys! I actually went down to the AB Showroom in Sg Besi since I was around that area but the showroom was closed. I was hoping to look at the E90 more closely and take it for a spin since it's a Sunday, less traffic.
Looking forward to upgrade to 18" soon, i have ACS Type IV Monoblock in mind (currently) and will go for the Original ones . Can anyone recommend me to a reasonable shop. I tried called Eurocarmotorsport, its a little too much they asking IMO for 18". Need to compare prices first, so recommendation plsss... many thanks.
