Hei EL118, Thanks for keeping your post up to date with all the works that you are doing on your 730Li E66. I just bought myself a 730Li E66 (local spec) 2 weeks ago. It is a 2005 model, which was registered in Nov 2006. Your posts have given me much insights on the repair works that I should be anticipating. At the very least, before I change any parts I can see how much it cost you and do a comparison before getting cheated left and right. Well done my friend. Cheers.
Update. 3rd year of ownership. maintenance cost as follows services x 2 + change bearing RM1,785 Change Tyres, Continental CSC 3 245/50 R18 RM941x4 + alignment = RM3,883. I pump front & rear 230 instead of 230 front and 250 rear as recommended. the wear pattern is more even. Total cost for 3rd year RM5,668 Total b/f 17,971 Total c/f RM23,639 (3 years in total, tyres made up RM8,630) Car still in tip top condition. one of my business friend who had a ride in my car could not believe it is a 6 years old car.
i just realised my E38 is an 15 years old car.. and damned it doesnt look and feel like anything more than 5

Not to say not.popular is high cost ...even if people have this car they surely got money but some people especially workshop choping head for maintainence i assume like this model come from PLUTO ....i personally encourage more e66 owner or forman come forward and talk on it here. Anyone could introduce me the best airconditions specialist for e66 or 730li....giving to bmw 3 times already asking changing here and there...i believe they purposely do that....i have all the receipt....my airconditions conditions is on air blow at all...item been change is blower full set unit by bmw car care...pls pls pls advise me urgently. what is the problem? mine previously have aircon with intermittent disruption in blowing power. change blower cant help. after update software all problem gone.
