Quick ques.. I bought a pair of hi-freq walkie talkie last time. I decide to buy hi-freq since I saw that club usually use hi-freq for most of the event as primary transmission. But comes to the day of event, the freq always clocked down to low-freq due to certain reasons. I'm believe that not only me who having this conflict, and northern gang also had the same problem on the last pangkor drives. I'm not intend to buy new set of walkie-talkie for the time being. Really appreciate if comms member can come out with solution since the communication between participants are essential in this long drive. Thanks...
Estimate Costing: Ri-Yaz Rooms RM 464.00 (for 2 nights) Sailing Fees RM 110.00 (per person) BBQ Dinner RM 40.00 (Club subsidy of 50% of the original cost) (*OM only) Hi-Tea RM 35.00 (for those who wanna get hi during tea break on the sailing day, hehehe) Total RM 649.00 For those that have deposited RM 300.00, please bring the balance and pay during morning registration before the convoy leaves. Please prepare the actual amount if possible. Thanks
Thanks for your feedback bro...I believe the above stated frequency will be used throughout the drive. If indeed there is a need for a change, the committee will inform before hand and explain the reason(s) for the change.
Thanks Bro, it was a collective decision from the committee since the other thread was rather long with information all over.
Thanks bro.. Hopefully we'll able to stick to the primary freq :top: Another humble suggestion, instead of the participants leave the resort on 6th by themselves, why not we make up small group for convoy driving back to KL?? Hence we can still feel the drives spirit before reach home. This is one of the best method to get rid of drive-fatigues perhaps :4:
Maybe I haven't been checking the forums lately, but to me this drive is so short notice! Wanna go but have to FFK cousins wedding... hmm tough choice!
Bro mac, just want to know the bbq cost, is that rm40 the original or after subsidized cost? Thanks...
Stig, This drive/sailing was posted in the forum on 28th March 2012. Please refer to thread here...http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/foru...l-Drive-May-2012-%96-Terengganu-Sailing-Drive. Thank you
Hi Bro JFT, RM40 is the subsidized cost....we are still trying to get a better deal...but this is the quote we got at the moment...any shortfall or top up will be notified to u guys accordingly....
Yea was about to ask the same thing as well..but I believe that figure is after the subsidy because if I'm not mistaken last time Mr Prez did mention that the cost would be around 70++ per pax..so 70 over bucks for me On the other hand bro mac, the stated accomodation cost for 2 nights is per room right? Meaning for those who are sharing the room the cost shall be divided as per am I right?
May i ask to save me the drive sticker any number will do if cannot no problem... since i will arrive in ganu there on 5th before 11am.
:top:... Great job Mac ... ... as discussed and agreed included in the high tea, is a small "birthday" event together with the orphanage at Ri-Yaz. Handing over of the goodies(courtesy of the birthday parents) and donation collected (from the ECB) will also be done during the high-tea. Maybe you can edit your posting to include the hi-tea event ... :top:"
