Good initiative taken by bmw7833 to start this Group buy for the benefit of all members. The prices indiacted above are good as compared to similar DVD player selling in mudah.com for RM3,300 so savings of approx RM1,000.!!! So I see no reason why this Group buy shouldn't be allow here.

I am interested to purchase a set for my e39 and have a couple of questions:-

    1. The 1 year warranty. Who or which company will give the warranty?

    2. Installation. Though it could be a DIY but I rather pay to have it installed by an accessory shop or someone familar with such installation. Can you arrange for a group installation as well?

    3. Delivery. When can we expect delivery?

    1. Errmm, warranty thru me.
    2. Yes, group installation is possible but need the help from Master. Anyway, i know a workshop did that before. Installation is easy and most of the accessory shop able to do.
    3. I will arrange meet up with buyer when the GB reach every 3/5 units, see the response 1st.

HLG. Paul, your e39 must fit HLG unit..hehehh..

I can help out with DIY installation after I learn on how to do it with my own unit . Let me make all the mistake first. LOL

According to the web, it takes about 4 hours to complete the installation.

    1. Relocate Aircon controller to bottom compartment. Need to buy adaptor from AB/BA for the A/C controller.
    2. Remove exisiting unit.
    3. Install new DD HU.
    4. A bit more time is also required to install reverse camera as the cabling have to run from the Rear Boot to the front HU.

buy me a drink and I will help you guys to install customised software..

    Group Buy Chief:
Pls check whether it fits an E53 (X5) 2002 model. From your picture, I assume it can. Might consider to join the group buy.
    TQ

Yes, it fits your E53. In fact, the curve design is most suitable for E53.
