mine was also a group buy initiated by a fellow UDMer, where they found a dealer who just got in 5 units of D99 Win Ce version.

workmanship plus 'fakra cable' RM2600.00. (RM200 for the cable)

all 5 units were taken up, their new D99 pricing for another group buy should be around your same price quoted here.

So it's only RM2400 for your unit? That's cheap!

All, I should be installing it on 20th, unless I could take a day on in this 1-2 weeks time.

If any would like to drop by the dealer's place for viewing/testing we can try to arrange. :)

Sewell, Beemerback, Melvinlee and BMW9833 and anyone else who wants to see the Dynavin e39A-D99 this evening.

Please note that this is a group buy organized by bro Wingzee. if you decide to get one after seeing it in action, please join this group buy and not go and get it somewhere else. The price quoted is very cheap already.

That said, can we meet up at 6.00 this evening at Pizza vs Satay at USJ 11? Lot's of parking there and very near my house. Hahaha. As i said, I'm on leave today and if anyone wants to see it earlier, just pm me.

Special thanks to Bro 525i for showing us his Dynavin e39A-D99 which was installed by himself in his X5 this evening.

Very impressed with the features in the set. The unit is suited for E39s as well. If you want to install it yourself, I suggest you contact Bro 525i himself for assistance. Otherwise, pay la.....

Dealer just confirmed that he carried the older D95 platform units as well. Priced at RM2400 for E46. Will check with him on the availability for E39 units for both D95 and D99. :)

Ya, really thanks to Bro 525i for showing us his Dynavin on this X5.

just want to let all the person who interested on the set to know more about the feture. We have checked out that the OBC is just for reading only you can't do any reset to the average fuel comsumption. and not all vehicle and view all the feture from the OBC such as the volt meter is missing on bro 525i's ride.

A simple way to overcome this is to relocate your MID to the glove box. Just cut off the connector and splice 5 wires (abt 2 feet) to the glove box. For those with the original Nav unit, you'd have to get a used MID and do the same.

    525i,

I've a few questions, does your steering controls and CD Changer still work together with the Dynavin? When you reverse, it shows visual indication of distance instead of beeping? I'm just curious if all my standard E39 functions are still available.

Steering controls works. CD changer however can't be connected anymore but there are plenty of sources for input. RCA, USB, Apple Ipod, SD Card, CD/MP3/DVD player, TV in. You won't miss your CD changer. That's for sure.

As for the PDC, it shows both visual indication and the original beeping is still maintained. You can also add in a reverse camera for live view.

Nope. Planning to use the funds for other mods first. But will be doing it in 1 to 2 months time. Are you interested to install together?
