Just parked next to an E90 today and took some face to face pics! B) http://docfiles.blogspot.com/2006/05/e23-vs-e90.html#linkshttp://docfiles.blogspot.com/2006/05/face-off.html#links
Actually I was wondering what would happen in a head to head crash at low speed to both cars? I know the E90 has the latest safety crumple zones, air bags, abs etc and all my E23 has is it's tough chasis! At low speed I hope that I can use the E90 as my crumple zone...or any other proton for that matter!
Very nice E23 there! And the face-off pics reminds me of the classic "old sifu vs. young punk" kinda standoff!
OMG!! Doc!! I think you have the most cleanest BMW in msia!! The leather seats are so clean and shinny.. :yahoo: psst...do you only allow your passangers to wear 100% silk skirts and stocking into your car, if not how come your leather seat and carpet are spotless?! :nyehehe: :nyehehe: :nyehehe: Definately one of the best maintain e23 around, BRAVO B)
I wish I could take the credit, but the loving care has been due to M30revival, he refurbished it. My job is just trying to maintain it. I try to regularly polish it and keep it clean, but beige is pretty tough. Here are some shots I took, been trying to take more pics (click for a bigger image)
Really nice ride u have there Doc. Really nice interior. :yahoo: I am also slowly restoring my E23. I still prefer the classic look of the E23 compare to the newer ones
From an e90 owner: That's one sweeeet e23. Congrats. Interior's gorgeous. Body/paint's straight. Make sure to lay on the wax, red just fades easily in the sun. Recommend a good synthetic wax to bring out the shine. I'd also work on the wheels...a set of nice (17" and above) old-school BBS type mesh wheels (silver) would look awesome.
