Bang abuhasan, that is one major potong kapala, feels like Raya Korban already. 525i E39 MAF is about RM650 from Bavarian Auto, my 530i oso RM850. You paid double the one for 525i!
Sorry bang hearing all these things. But from the PA soft scanner it just stated there's misfiring on cylinder no 3 & 4, so, i think what they should do is to open back the coil and assemble it again, who knows it needs to be re-tighten, as the problem might arise after u've passed the uneven road..if MAF, it should have triggered the fault code... hehe...i can't tell u here but as what ssmann said before, sudah kena hari hari mau but i think it wont happen again la...scared also

After checking....the forecast result should be, smoothness during driving and it will not improve the power but will do alot damage to the engine if too much octane. Vpower + 2 bottle octane is ok but how about 4?...hmmm....intresting.....who car can i use to try? I PAYY FOR THE FUEL AND OCTANE!...HEHEH
already did a experiment , half tank of my car can get 300km city driving , some rempit , and highway to kluang. and i also put it in my kapcai full tank of 7 ringgit can get 125km.
I clocked 650km for 85L RON 95..that's about 7.65 km per L,..or 24.9 sen per km.. But that included speeds up to 200kmh chasing 9020 & the Melaka plated E38 on the highway (consistently 160+ though) and messing around in traffic in Melaka..& 1st 100km in city traffic in KL.. Cheers

Mine with the BHP Ron95, full tank fill up at the RV point, most of all the way spirited driving thru and fro, left quarter tank when reached KL. Forgot to check the l/100km but my range left another 200km. Forgot to recall the mileage.. What is wrong with the M'ca plate car la...haiyoo....hehe

my 4343: catalytic converter(centre muffler) problem. after changing the new; AMF, oil seperator & pulse generator camshaft yesterday. call the mechanic this morning, stop doing anything to my UDM (totally lost my confidence on this S8 AUTO after 3rd time bad experienced with them) it so sad, the condition became worst, with power lost, engine died when idling, & exhaust sound diffn. ofcoz that centre muffler already incl. the list to replace. odway bck decided to stop at Supreme Auto, Bangi asked them to diagnose again (just to make sure) no faulty detected but problem still there. then they decided to loose centre muffler & do test drive. engine bck to normal with power, stable & smooth gear shift except the sound like ferrari without exhaust. ...then try look for catalytic converter N42 coupe year 03 model but not available except to order. Lucky me, managed to get 2nd one at RM1.8k. Hopefully everything will be fine after its ready this evening.
My E60, Since Kluang till now i only use 1/2 tank till now. But i pump Shell 95 + Octane before the Kluang journey. My record is - before Octane = 10.1km/L / after Octane is 8.9KM/L.....From JB travel to SG to JB average 97KM
