Got to know and offered for a good condition 2002 with a spare mechanically injected M10 engine on Wednesday. Told him I was blardy interested since my dad's mech spoke highly of the car's condition since he's the one maintaining it. Went to the guy's place yesterday with cash in hand.

He wasn't there. Called and called, he didn't answer. Finally called from his other friend's phone. He answered. Car was sold earlier in the morning for a fraction of what I agreed to pay. Stupid right? He would've made more money from me!

Pics of the engine is all i got. Jatuh semangat already. Search for the "BMW Holy Grail" is on hold at the moment.

For those interested in 2002 project for 2006 can with start with withdrawing 28.5K ...and drive up to Sg Patani....
Latest issue of MT got a 72 2002 looking for new project master...

 

Wah, the car must be in good condition man if the asking price is that much..

there is 2 02 chasis in shah alam glenmarie area....

one is rusty and left outside and the other is in a bmw specialist shop

they are the one storey lots near the Lux office

Just like to know what's the cost of the 2002 good condition one and not so good condition one...are the parts (body and engine) still easily available and which workshop is doing alot of maintaince for the 2002

ANNOUNCEMENT

The committee has decided that the BMW Club Official TT will be Monthly TT starting Nov 2006.

Official TT would be held on every 2nd Friday of the month. So the next Official TT would be on 10 Nov. Stay tuned for more info.

You can organise your own gatherings if there is no official TT for that particular week, but we do hope that when there is an Official TT on that week your group will organise yourselves to attend the Club TT.
