Yes, for smooth succession planning, at least half of the committee should remain and imho ther4 only 50% seats may go for election. :)

Don't misunderstand my statement. As I have said, if I've been actively involved in the club's activities and events, I seriously don't mind being part of the team. Problem is I travel a lot and out of one month, I'm only in town perhaps 4-5 days.

Maybe I should rephrase my sentence. I sincerely hope all the capable guys will stick around to bring this club forward especially those who had demonstrated their organising qualities. Better? Don't mean to start an argument here. :)

I see the club achieving great things. The current committee has and is doing a superb job. Call them whatever but without them, I think we would have been off track donkey years ago putting our official status into jeopardy.

Arranging an event as compared to running a club is two diff thing my fren ...

Dun become the committee; if glamor is what ur looking for ...
It requires dedication, commitment and most of all TIME; in which most of us are short off.

Not being in the committee does not mean that you cannot contribute urself to the club.

i think i know wat both of u meant, n actually both of u were rite ...

wasabi only wanted those capable to at least remain in the nomination list ....

HOWEVER, 535i has just made a gd point sharin my sentiment over my beloved fellow forummers in ere. yes, its true havin a gd pro-active office bearers also directly meanin we will hev more events, activities, remain dynamic n wat not .... but somehow its quite frustratin when many of us (not just few) duduk saja n not contributin, kesian larr to those commitee members ok .... but then gain, who cares anyway :) ;)
