    Hey Guys,

    Car couldn't start and changed to new batt but same problem and my regular mech traced it to faulty Engine ECU. Got the car back after replacing the ECU and reprogramming. This morning same problem ie car couldn't start at all. Gonna send it back to the workshop.
    Anyone here had this issue?

    cheers and stay safe !!

    forgot to mention, the car was leaking current and thats why the new batt was dead, overnight.

    When u changed battery, did the mechanic registered the new battery bro? It has to be registered, as if u dont, the ECU might think it is still on the old battery, hence it would not be charging properly.

    But a new batt to be depleted overnite? hmmmm...... do u hv any other 3rd party mods? dash cam? android headunit, etc?

    Car's back in workshop. I'll give them some time to solve the problem. After that, all hell breaks loose!!!

    Absolutely. Since I've already paid for it, I prefer to get it solved with the current mech. Thanks mate.

    Hi guys, my e60 523i facing steering vibration issue when braking on high speed, I suspect is because of worn front lower arm and caster arm.

    Is it okay to use OEM brand for these parts? Bavarian auto quoted me original rm550 per pcs, while only rm190 for German oem brand (Euste), quite a big difference

    Braking vibration is usually due to warped/worn discs, have you checked them?

    Hi E60 lovers.

    Just bought a 2005 e60 523i from my KL client, mileage at 62k only. I am from up north but am looking for a reliable mechanic in PJ or KL as the car is in the klang valley.

    Recommendations please as:
    1. The "rear brake pad change" warning light has appeared;
    2. The audio system goes on and off as I drive;
    3. The tires are 7 years old and need a change.

    Thanks in advance.
