I'm proud of Perodua. Their Kelisa and Kenari have proven to be very good quality and sturdy vehicles. They got the right market segment to grow and this new offering looks very appealing. Their success has made Proton's dismal failure even more pronounced!

Hmm, let me help them:

Kanchil - Land Mamal
Kanari - Bird, Air
Kelisa - Fish, Water
Kembara - Not animal but still starts with a K
Rusa - Land Mamal, Odd ball dont even start with a K

Suggestions for name:

Kuda - Too simple too commonplace
Kasawari - Good, very exotic
Kijang - Nah....
Kambing - No way
Kenyalang - Good, very exotic but difficult to pronounce by many
Kobra - Nah....
Kupu-kupu - Too soft
Kriket - Too western
Kumang - Too dirty

Insect checked, shell fish checked, reptiles......stumped

Admire Pro2 but not their drivers. They got chip on their shoulder or they tend to pack it in too much.
Kanari is a bit of an odd ball, I think they needed to be in keeping with ProTONNE with their Juara.

saat, I'm a P2 driver. Next time I see you in USJ, I'll kick your a$$. I'll bring Mikoloh along. Hahaha...

I think the name is Perodua MyVI (as in my vehicle). This was based on some source in the Perodua and Latest News Threads in Autoworld. Price I think around RM46K for the entry level.
I think ABS and airbags are options.

Kudos to P2. Time to remove P1.

My fren have placed a booking for the MyVi/Boon, still donno what its called yet. Expected launch end April/early May 2005. Price: RM45K-49K.

Looks very nice, and reliable. Another success story by P2 in the making??

P1 needs to close shop and go back to being an assembler.... and they have 9 production plants (mostly JV) worldwide, also in Indo, which is supposed to cater for export??? WTF??? Then if all the production plants in Msia are for local market only, how to get economy of scale??? No wonder they need protection (as if 20yrs of exclusivity is not enuff???)

Fark P1, support P2 all the way with their willingness to innovate.
