Was going through some old pictures in my archive and came across these. My beloved. Could not afford to keep her anymore so I sold for RM2k. Been 4 years already since i've sold.

Has anybody seen her around?

2k!!! what a bargain!!
but by the looks of it, it sure needed a lot of work!!!
that aircond has to go! looks out of place...missing the centre console..
that clock is quite rare too...nice!
hope he/she is nicely gleaming now..:)

Thanks for the comments Mine Fuhrer. And that clock still works too! Only 5 minutes fast every month. I did fabricate a replacement centre console with aircon vents that looks just like the original but never did go on with the project. She's in my prayers

Fuhrer, if not mistaken, all 2002tii models come with the clock placed there.

on the 2002 models, it's on the instrument cluster panel.

on the 2002tii, they have rpm meter, the 2002 doesn't.

speaking of that, my next project is to install an rpm gauge! :nyehehe:

Where were you when I wanted to sell?

I hope the new owner did not buy it for the number plate JW5000 and scrap the car!!! :(

So if anyone sees a 1974 BMW2002tii with the number plate JW5000, do let me know :)

But if you see a brand new Gen2, Myvi or one of those silly tin cans going by the number JW5000, that would be the biggest heartache of my life.

Gave it all to the new owner. Hope he makes good use of it and not toss it and the whole car to the scrapping yard :(

Yup she's a 1974 2002tii. When I bought the car it had the original M10 engine but the Kugelfischer injection unit was swapped for Twin Weber sidedraughts. Felt like it made at least 150bhp on wheel. Donuts were easily on tap and I could out drag hot hatches to the 1/4 mile. Then later the engine died and I swapped it for an improved M10 from an early 318i with K-Jetronic. All was well for a few years until the fuel tank started to rust and clog up my fuel pump and from there on, one thing led to another and I was broke :beaten:

Yo bimmerman,
I will try to ask my uncle whether he has any recollection about this car or not. You knowla.. all 2002 owners tend to know each other one..

David, sabar brader, i ask you to follow me to look at the 02 in Kg bharu, you dont want.. you better come with me coz there is a lot of parts inside the car that we could share (or cannibalise !) if the owner wants to sell the car.

my 71 2002 didn't have a on the dash either..it had an rpm meter..but then again..my car was quite weird as it had chrome trimiings on the dashboard surround..including the ashtray area. my centre console didn't cover the gearbox area..it ended just before..must dig up pics..:)
