personally i would go for the single DIN player

the next thing you need to ask is ' am i going to use all the functions on that player?' eg. does it have the required amounts of preouts? can i fit that in my car?' what other components am i going to put in my car?

this player is more of a all in one thing. and if i am not mistaken it is quite pricy and you could probably get a better single DIN player for the same price. Plus my audio technition friend told me not to waste my time with that player if you want to add amplifiers and subwoofers.

anyway here are the specs

ALPINE CDA-W560EG
* MP3/WMA DECODER
* BASS ENGING , 4-BAND EQUALIZER, CROSSOVER, TIME CORRECTION, SUBWOOFER PHASE SELECTOR.
* 1 PRE-AMP OUTPUT WITH SUBWOOFER LEVEL CONTROL
* 50W x 4 AMPLIFIER
* NOISE REDUCTION
* Ai CHANGER CONTROL
* CD-R/CD-RW PLAY BACK CAPABILITY
* WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL READY
* MEDIA XPANDER

hope this helps

I've heard this one before. Pretty clean sound - typical Alpine and has loads of sound shaping and tuning funtions. Only problem is that it's a 2 DIN unit which means it won't fit in our UDMs. If you are planning to install it elsewhere ... like a Waja or alike, it's worth considering. Also, do note that future expansion could be an issue since only ONE pre-out is being offered. You may need a 4 or 6 channel amp to get the job done.

How much is this unit being offered to you ?

Cheers,
