hi guys,
just got an e46 ori xenon projector headlamp....i need help from those who has been using the projector xenon headlight...
what is the brightness like??? can it be replaced by D2S 7000k bulb?? but i found out it is not as bright as the original ones....would it due to the ballast???or do i need to set the projector mayb for maximum voltage???
now regarding the aftermarket HID (7000k), was originally installed at my headlamp...now i want to install at my fogs.....can they fit or do i need to change the bulbs????btw, my fogs are the log ones, prefacelifted....
TIA guys,
rgrds,
mc

Woweeee MC!
Good stuff on the ori projectors. Sorry dont know much bout them. HOpe you work it out. But i think the ori wont be as bright as the HIDs you had on before. It makes sense that it wont be as bright. Try asking Shedden, he should know.

if i not mistaken, the ori xenon rating is 4500K... yes you can change it to the 7000k series. installing HID in fogs is also possible but bear in mind
the location to mount the ballast(away from splashing water/fluids)
for further understanding read my thread...
