I chose the 147 cos it's cheaper than the rest and still got a lot of fun appeal. Then... there's the italian engine which just pours out the right notes! Shod it with nice 18" and it looks meaner than the rest too. Then can join www.italiaauto.com without feeling like an impostor!

Was split between the MCS and the DC5, but in the end, your poll title did say "fun" car, and well, the MCS is alot more "fun" than the DC5- which is leaning more towards "serious" and "hardcore".

Dude

Let me take you around in the MCS. (Even more upgrades now)
Then you will know which fun car. The MCS also wins in the looks factor.

Tried the VW & actually came so close to buying but in the end the MCS wins. The VW is also fun & it will wear off like in 3mths. Havent track the VW yet but have done with the MCS.

Integra for me. Too much jap influence.keke Anyway, real choice not in the options. Would love to have a Miata(3rd generation) for my fun car. Nearly got a 2nd generation anyway for my DAILY car before the present Bimmer. :P Krazy ah.

Had a few miata before. Looks is ok, handling is good but performance is really nothing to shout about.
Hv not tried the 3rd generation yet but i believe Jap will always be a jap. Ride will never be as comfortable as a conti. Especially on bumpy roads.

heheeh... i voted DC5R. but thinking bout it, ur rite, its prolly more "hardcore" than "fun". the MCS, DC5R and GTI would own the 147 2.0TS, and that's not much fun. ;)

if not the DC5R then prolly the Golf. got a soft spot for the 'lil suckers anyway. :)

Bro, you also like the Lancia Montecarlo? There was one unit for sale at a dealer in Kajang ;)

Fun car out of that list : my vote goes to Mini Cooper S.

The Golf Mk V is too big.
The Honda Integra is fast but I believe you won't have as much fun with it as a MCS, plus street cred nowhere near MCS (take the hotel valet parking test)
Alfa 147 2.0 - please, why is that car on the list at all??! 147 GTA maybe worthy to consider a fun car.
And the 1 series......if got 130i then can consider, or a new M1!

There is one in Klang, dumped inside the owners house, hasn't moved for years, even the tyres are flat now, but the owner not even interested to listen to offers..sigh <_<

To me, the 120i just ain't quick enuff esp in auto trans... BMW should really consider doing an M1...

If it was only as a weekend car, a Lotus Elise would be the perfect choice for me...

1st choice in order

1. MCS
2. Golf GTI
3.DC5
4. Tie..Alfa & 120i;)

All of the above are FWD with the exception of the 1 series..

The 120i won't make it as a fun choice weekend warrior car. It just doesn't have enuf poke. And with the local pricing structure, it's just too expensive ...

fab... the last HPC event full track race la.... where those MCS club and Lotus club join together ;) All i remember was kena from 2 MCS which one of them is black colour with high cams (i think so from the blasting sound) and another one is either dark green or blue... :o

All i know the black one was damn fast coming out from corners... like karting man !! there's few times where entering the corners together MCS was behind me sticking like leech but when exit the corner huhhh :( sad man.... watching these guys accelerating and pulling away from my ride begin to feel my ride is OLD and need some new life. So i decided to gave my ride a new heart, a new & last project....:D

Since then i pick MCS and if i can afford one in the future why not... coz not that expensive anyway....:p but da that HPC event was really enjoying coz was full track race.... thumbs up !
