Bluetooth Handsfree kit

Has anyone fitted in a bluetooth connection to their 1er.

Apparently the AB people seem to claim that the option is not available in Malaysia. Seems strange as it is a common option in the UK.

Any reliable 3rd party devices anyone can recommend?

I've asked IA people before, it can be done for about RM5-10k. There is some gadget that needs to be imported & some programming required. When the call comes in the whole car can listen to the conversation. Not much privacy when there are others around.

I don't think anyone outside BMW authorised dealers have the capability to do it for now. Anyway the market for 1er is not big enuf.

With RM5-10k investment, I'd rather use my normal handsfree kit. Need $$ to pay for exp petrol :)

Generally there are retro kit for 1 series but you should give your chasis number to the dealer to check if the option is available on that batch of cars. Provided this car is imported via authorized dealer :burnout:
