BMW has original 'smoked' headlamp for e30. Try asking the parts shop. They cost around 1k for all 4 here in jb. Black kidney grills are also available.

I have the black out grill if you want. Its actually a plastic cover for the ori grill. Can be bought in US or UK for about Rm150.

Simplest way will be to stick black sticker onto the kidney grill. I did it with sticker that I bought from a friend of mine who does signboards. Doesn't crumple around the edges when you use hairdryer to heat and stretch it when sticking, total DIY. Also doesn't peel of and washable. Still have balance if you want. :D

Painting oso can... but make sure its coated by multiple layers of good high-solid lacquer... otherwise might peel off. :D

Smoking the front lamps requires you to remove 4 (2xdriving + 2xhighbeam) glass lamp covers. Then you can spray paint the driving lamps reflectors black and fit a special damper on the highbeam reflectors. Note: do not spray paint the highbeam reflectors. PM me if you need the desigh for the dampers (Hella only, Borch not sure still testing). After that use high temp silicon to seal up the lamp covers and viola, you've got smoked fronts.
Stuff you need: Hot air gun (i set mine to 300-350 degrees), screw-drivers, gloves (300 degrees don play play), high temp silicon(but ppl tell me normal structural silicon can). High temp black gloss paint, some tin sheets to make damper, tin shear to cut sheets and lots of time.
Extra stuff: CCFL if you can afford and also may as well polish the lamp cover as it would have lots of pits. Then buy 3m clear film to cover the lamps.
Smoked rears, get some smoke effect spray from hobby shop. Last time i checked it was ~RM33 for a small can from Tamiya. Remove rear lamps and mask off areas that you do not want to spray and follow instructions on can. However can come out abit dark if too thick and also not as bright.
Fastest and easiest option is to look for calvin tan, cos he's got the ori stuff both smoked fronts and backs for sale. :ok:
