Anyone with a 3.0l Harrier out there? Am tempted with one. My main deterant is the risk of being car-jacked.

just make sure you sandblast the window glass with your number plate all round....that will make thieves think twice bf trying to hijack the car.... :ok:
You should seriously consider a Murano also if you are talking abt the new Harrier. Jeremy Clarkson gave a rare 5 stars for this which is usually under exceptional circumstances. Why he only gave a 4 star rating to the new E60 BMW M5 in his review last week beats me ....

wj, given your track record with harriers, suggest u carve the body panels too on top of sandblasting windows if you end up with one... make sure the letterings are about the same size as those on number plate... hehe

Its a very nice car and handles well too on the road. As for the 3.0L I heard it has some gearbox problem on the earlier version.

Gearbox problems insofar as the 4wd models...FWD ok. Can wheel spin on demand.

I used to travel for a few times in this car which belong to my vendor. Beside its neat and luxurious interior, I didn't feel anything special about it. Not like bimmer where I can feel the heat is there.

WJ,
Somehow wheelspin on FWD does not really appeal. RWD wheelspin with blue smoke is a sight to behold, from whichever angle. Pity the guy at the rear ....
Ford Escape 2.4 fwd does wheelspin up front pretty easily too.
