Zogee seems to have a fetish for the colour yellow...
Hmmmm, makes me wanna mod-up my aunt's starlet too...
The 4A-GE, a small gem of an engine. In those days. its redline of 7,700rpm was considered stratospheric in a passenger car (of course that was before the Honda's VTEC came about). :ok:

The in gear acceleration of the Kookaburra One is fantastic. Crusing on the highway on 4th gear, around 100kph and 4,000rpm, no need to drop gear. Just pedal to metal & you got another 4,000rpm to go!

Fabs, any pic of the yellow bird in full flight? Despite the speed, sideways had much difficulty to get it......sideways. But it sure is a cute little yellow car that makes people laugh & smile!

it likes to go round and round rather than sideways....
but fear not, this is only the first outing... more can be done to sort out the whole car... first thing would be more weight at back...
yup!tht was one hell of a great day i had with sideways, fabs, flowerofcarnage, and osf....the pocket rocket is damn fast leh!!!
like fabs said...this is only its 1st outing...like a wild horse it has to be tamed and broken into!!! :nyehehe:
then it will go SIDEWAYS!!!!!
for now its like a dog chasing its own tail...round and round and round....!
was great!thanx for the taxiride sideways! :beaten: :yahoo:
next time if the starlet is still light at the rear end...i'll just buckle myself to the tyrewell and u can go sideways lor!!!

Reminds me of Shedden's ex-2nd Gen Civic project. That car was a true legend man... Winner of drag events and track ones as well. He even gave some dude + his chick in his 750iL a fantastic run at 250km/h LOL.

Ever had the sensation that the rear wheels are trying to overtake the front wheels? That's what this car felt like...
Thanks for the ride, Sideways!

There is so much power going to the rear wheels the whole subframe is shaking when you do burnouts!

Next showing will be on Saturday 30 April - hopefully on 15" tyres coz today I just got the hubcentric cones! Will also try to increase the castor angle and see if other areas can be tuned.
